Born and bred in Hartlepool, Mick discovered Blues at 16 after stumbling across a Johnny Winter album—and he’s been hooked on Blues Rock ever since. He even struck a deal with his wife, Karen: a shopping trip to New York in exchange for a pilgrimage to Chicago, where he met Buddy Guy and visited the Blues Museum.

Before settling in Cantoria, Mick ran pubs in London’s West End and in the Canary Islands. These days, he still enjoys building kit guitars and sharing his lifelong passion for Blues and Rock with Breeze listeners.
