The Northern Soul Show with Neil Coates
Born in County Durham, Neil has always had a love of music. From his early teens Northern Soul was Neil’s passion, he and his mates attending Northern Soul allnighters across the UK. His favourite place to dance was Wigan Casino which he went to as much as possible.
This passion stayed with him during almost 30 years military service in the British Army and the Canadian Military.
Neil retired from the military in 2009 and he and his wife Karon, moved to Spain in 2017.
The Loop
The Loop is our community focus show, every week day between 3pm and 5pm.
Everything you need to keep you in the loop with local and national Spanish news, what’s happening around our Almanzora Valley area stomping ground, updates regarding Rona, restrictions, vaccinations, what’s on and where it’s all happening.
It’s also our way of finding out more about you. What do you like listening to? Are you involved with the local music scene? Have you discovered an artist you think the rest of us should be made aware of?
Join in with our Gimme Five feature. Your favourite five songs of all time, your favourite five from an artist or band you love, top five tracks from your favourite artist, if you can put five tracks you love together, let us know and we’ll arrange for you to introduce them yourself (don’t worry – you don’t have to brave the technology of the studio!)
